Spirit Airlines recent decision to halt flights from Arnold Palmer Regional Airport to Orlando Florida has been reversed. The Trib reports that the route will resume on September 10th and run four times a week. As of right now, it is still scheduled to take a hiatus over most of the summer months, with the last flight to Orlando for now this Thursday. After that, Spirit will run routes from Latrobe to Myrtle Beach exclusively. Airport executive director Gabe Monzo said that recent negotiations to bring a second carrier on board have stalled because of industry-wide factors, including the rising cost of fuel.
