A former South Greensburg Fire Chief had bail reduced in a second case of theft, allowing him to be released from jail. The Trib reports that bail was reduced in the case for Matthew White of Hempfield that was connected with the alleged theft of over $290,000 from the St. Clair Cemetery Association. Bail was changed to $100,000 unsecured, and White waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Earlier this week, the bond was reduced to $5000 unsecured for the theft of $170,000 from the volunteer fire department.
