A 20-year-old man already on probation for a 2024 gun store burglary is back in custody. The Trib reports that Police in Arnold say Steyn Sarduy of Springdale fled a traffic stop April 19, driving a stolen car. Officers attempted to pull him over for speeding and a broken taillight, but he drove off, then jumped from the moving vehicle and ran. He was arrested later while trying to get an Uber. Sarduy, who took a plea deal in the earlier burglary case, is being held without bail in the Westmoreland County Jail and awaits a preliminary hearing Thursday.
