Leechburg’s mayor is hosting a town hall this month to connect residents with local resources and community groups. According to the Tribune-Review, the meeting is set for 6 p.m. May 20 at the Marconi Club and will feature local churches, nonprofits, and emergency services sharing available programs. Mayor Doreen Smeal said the goal is to raise awareness, introduce newer council members, and encourage residents to engage directly with local leadership. She also plans to highlight a new community calendar initiative and hopes the event helps residents turn to borough officials—rather than social media—with questions and concerns.
