A Texas woman has died following a crash near the New Stanton interchange on the Pennsylvania Turnpike last month, according to the Tribune-Review. State police say the crash happened April 8 when the driver, a 27-year-old Michigan man, fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment and rolled over. The passenger, 22-year-old Navya Nelakuditi, was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Her death was ruled accidental. Police say the driver suffered minor injuries.
