According to the Tribune-Review, eleven cases have been confirmed in Lebanon County, with most involving unvaccinated individuals. Three people were hospitalized, prompting contact tracing that uncovered additional mild cases. Officials say none of the patients are currently infectious. The outbreak follows earlier cases in nearby Lancaster County, bringing Pennsylvania’s total to 23 this year. Health officials continue to stress vaccination as the best protection against the highly contagious virus.
