HUSBAND TAKES THE STAND IN DELMONT WOMAN’S TRIAL

The husband of Lauren Maloberti took the stand yesterday to testify against his wife, who is on trial for the death of their adopted son.  The Trib reports that Jacob Maloberti said that he initially believed that five-year-old Landon died in 2023 due to a medical issue and never considered that child abuse or an accidental fall would lead to his death. He also denied responsibility for the boy’s death.  Lauren is accused of abusing and torturing their adopted son, but prosecutors also believe that Jacob had a part in the abuse.  The Trial is expected to continue today.
