The trial of Lauren Maloberti continued yesterday with testimony from health experts. The Trib reports that Penn State Hershey Medical Center pediatrician Dr. Lori Fraiser, who specializes in abuse cases, said that Lauren’s 5-year-old adopted son Landon was hurt through direct assault and and not a fall. She added that if Landon received prompt medical attention, he would not have died. The prosecution expects to rest its case this morning when the trial resumes.
