BICYCLIST STRUCK BY VEHICLE IN LOWER BURRELL

A bicycle rider is injured after being struck by a vehicle in Lower Burrell yesterday. Emergency responders were called to the intersection of Leechburg Road and Reed Street around 2 p.m. on reports of the wreck. A medical helicopter was initially called, but was then cancelled and the victim was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. Police say the driver who was involved did remain on the scene. No updates on the condition of the injured man have been released.
