THREE RIDERS RESCUED FROM WILD MOUSE AT IDLEWILD

Three riders had to be rescued from the Wild Mouse ride at Idlewild and Soakzone after it malfunctioned on Tuesday.  The Trib reports that first responders were sent to the park in the late afternoon after one of the cars ended up stuck on a curve at the ride’s highest point.  Firefighters worked with Mutual Aid EMS and Ligonier Valley Police, performing a high-angle rope rescue to get the riders safely down.  No injuries were reported, and the ride is temporarily closed so staff can review it.
