Jimmy Buffet’s music lives on.
Mac McAnnaly, a longtime member of the singer’s Coral Reefer Band, told Billboard that he and his band mate Michael Utley are working on a posthumous Buffet album. The project will include songs that are “for the most part” tracks that have never been out, or they were “cut for a one-off purpose.” The oldest of the tracks is from 2003 while the newest is from about four years ago.
No release date or title for the posthumous album has been announced.
