GREENSBURG MAN DIES IN HEMPFIELD MOTORCYCLE CRASH

A Greensburg man died in a motorcycle crash just before midnight on Friday in Hempfield.  The Trib reports that the victim was identified as 24-year-old Rylie D. Hillegas.  He was riding his motorcycle east on Baughman Hollow Road near the Route 66 overpass when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road and hit a guardrail, throwing him off it.  He was taken to Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital where he was pronounced dead due to his injuries.  Authorities say he was not wearing a helmet at the time.
