LOWER BURREL MAN SUING HIS BANK

A Westmoeland County man is suing his bank, claiming they are wrongfully withholding nearly $12,000 of his money.  WTAE-TV reports that the federal lawsuit was filed by Jim Serena of Lower Burrell against JPMorgan Chase bank.  Serena said that he had been helping a friend after their significant other had died, and sent him money for the assistance.  Serena’s friend had reported the $12,000 missing but realized that he had sent the money through Zelle and later withdrew his affidavit, but the bank reportedly has kept the money in question.  Serena could be paid out as much as $900,000 if the lawsuit goes his way.
