MORE TESTIMONY HEARD IN LOWER BURRELL MAN’S TRIAL

More testimony was heard yesterday in the trial of a Lower Burrell man accused of killing someone in an Upper Burrell bar in 2021.  The Trib reports that at the trial of Daniel Moles yesterday, forensic pathologist Dr. Jennifer Hammers said that while Moles’ blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit, he would still have the ability to form a conscious decision to pull the trigger and kill Randy Jeneraux.  Witnesses testified Moles’ DNA was found on the suspected murder weapon and on ammunition found at the scene. A ballistics expert testified the gun functioned properly and that tests detected gunshot residue on Moles’ hands.  The prosecution is expected to call three more witnesses before resting its case today.
