PRELIMINARY HEARING FOR PITTSBURGH MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE AND ARSON DELAYED FOR FIFTH TIME

A preliminary hearing for a Pittsburgh man charged with attempted homicide and arson in connection with a fire in New Kensington back in March has been delayed for the fifth time.  The Trib reports that yesterday, 37-year-old Anthony Mohamed’s hearing was continued once again.  That came after District Judge Frank Pallone, Jr. recused himself from the case at Mohamed’s request.  Mohamed is accused of setting the fire on March 29th at a duplex on Freeport Road and McCargo Street.  No one died in the fire.
