LAYTON BRIDGE CLOSURE IN FAYETTE COUNTY

Drivers and hikers that use the Layton Bridge and the Great Allegheny Passage Trail will be closed August 18th to the 21st.  The Trib reports Local access to Falbo Road will be maintained on the Perryopolis side of the closure. All other traffic will be detoured along a route that includes Independence Street, Liberty Street/Cemetery Road, Flatwoods Road, Dickerson Run Road, Dawson Road, River Road, Banning Road and Layton Road.  In addition, access to the trail will close daily from 6 AM to 6 PM.
