After a contested vote, a former Ligonier Valley teacher will fill a seat on the school board left vacant by a member’s resignation. The Trib reports that on Monday night, the board voted 5-3 to appoint Lorrie Bucklen of Fairfield to the seat vacated by Michael Knupp. She will fill the rest of the term, which expires in December of 2027.
