WESTMORELAND COUNTY MAN WITHDRAWS FROM PA HOUSE 60TH DISTRICT RACE

A Westmoreland County man who was looking to run as a Libertarian for the Pennsylvania House 60th District seat is no longer in the race.  An attorney representing Brian Peltier has confirmed that he is withdrawing his candidacy.  Peltier does not have the required number of petition signatures to be placed on the ballot in November, according to his lawyer.  A Republican and a Democrat who live in Peltier’s district filed a legal challenge to his petition signatures in court.  Incumbent Republican state Representative Abby Major and Democrat Dustyn Dorn are the remaining candidates in the race.
