A developer from Ohio is looking to build 168 ranch-style homes in the White Valley neighborhood of Murrysville. The Trib reports that a public hearing was held on the matter on Tuesday. Redwood out of Cleveland is looking to develop the 62-acre parcel bordered by Old William Penn Highway, Wilson Road and the White Oak Court town development. The hearing dealt with the excavation of about 230,000 cubic yards of earth in a section of the property with steep slopes and poor soil. Both the planning commission and council voted to grant the conditional use.
