UPPER BURRELL MAN SUES GREENSBURG RESTAURANT FOR FALL

An Upper Burrell Township man is suing a Greensburg restaurant for an injury suffered when he reportedly slipped on cheese.  The Trib reports that the lawsuit was filed against Olives and Peppers at the Greensburg Train Station. Allen Uhler said in court documents he suspected a “white, slimy, slippery, cheese-like or food-related substance” caused him to fall to the ground, leaving him in what he described as a “helpless position on the ground with both knees and top tips of sneakers touching the ground.” on December 27th.  Uhler said the restaurant was negligent for allowing the conditions that lead to the slip and fall incident.
