JILL COOPER FACES DAVON MAGWOOD IN PA’S 55TH STATE HOUSE DISTRICT RACE

Republican state Representative Jill Cooper is again facing New Kensington Democrat Davon Magwood in the race for Pennsylvania’s 55th state House District.  The two candidates will appear on the ballot for the general election in November.  Cooper held off a challenge from Magwood in the 2024 election, pulling in about 68 percent of the vote to Magwood’s roughly 32 percent.  Pennsylvania’s 55th state House District covers the cities of Arnold and New Kensington, along with part of Lower Burrell and a handful of surrounding boroughs and townships.
