Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is joining a lawsuit to block President Trump’s order limiting mail-in voting. Shapiro is part of a coalition of 25 Democratic-led states that’s suing after a federal judge lifted a block on the executive order, allowing it to be implemented. The order directs agencies to compile a list of confirmed U.S. citizens eligible to vote in each state, then the Postal Service would oversee mail-in voting by establishing “uniform standards.” Governor Shapiro said the order is unconstitutional, and accused the president of trying to “inject chaos” into the upcoming midterm elections.
