LATROBE POLICE EMPLOYEE RESIGNS AFTER BEING PUT ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE

A Latrobe police employee placed on administrative leave earlier this month has voluntarily resigned.  The Trib reports that Beth Straka submitted her resignation on August 18th, which was approved Monday by city council.  She had been the police department’s deputy director of community affairs and police services, but she was placed on administrative leave with pay earlier this month due to what city officials said were “personnel reasons”.
