The parents of a man killed in a motorcycle crash are looking for safety improvements for an area of Route 819. The Trib reports that 19-year-old Lam Duong died in the crash on July 26th at the intersection with St. Clair Avenue. His parents, Reid Crosby and Beth Tidemann talked with Hempfield Township supervisors last week to see if they can get PennDOT working on improvements to the area. Hempfield officials are looking at steps forward with Crosby, Tiedemann and Duong’s fiancee, Aspen Brulez, to have that section of the two-lane road just outside South Greensburg studied.
