WESTMORELAND COUNTY PRISON BOARD FIRES DEPUTY WARDEN OF SECURITY

The Westmoreland County Prison Board has fired Deputy Warden of Security Robert Fagan.  The Trib reports this comes less than two weeks after he was placed on administrative leave and after prior Warden Steven Pelesky was fired.  Board members have not given specific reasons outside of “employment issues” for the firings.  Deputy Warden of Operations Ben Carrillo is running the jail on an interim basis.  No other details were given about the search for a new jail warden.
