Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is canceling a hearing his attorneys said would prove his innocence. The hearing in which one of Sandusky’s sexual assault victims was expected to recant his testimony is being taken from Pennsylvania state court to federal court in search of a new trial. The 82-year-old is serving a 30- to 60-year sentence for child sexual assault, but he has maintained his innocence. In his cancelation request, Sandusky said he can’t get a fair hearing in Centre County.
