POWER RESTORED TO MOST IN WESTMORELAND COUNTY

Power has been restored to most of those affected by the powerful storms that came through the area on Thursday.  The Trib reports that about 20 outages were still reported by West Penn Power in Westmoreland County as of last night.  The company reported 40,000 outages in Westmoreland County.  West Penn Power has supplemented its local crews with additional resources and personnel from other service areas where restoration efforts are already completed.
