Massive deliveries for the new Homer City Generation could tie up traffic on roads in Westmoreland County. WPXI-TV reports that trucks carrying massive parts for the facility are expected to make their way from Armstrong County, head into Westmoreland County on Routes 66 and 22 before entering Indiana County. The first phase of deliveries will start this month with a second phase before Thanksgiving and a final phase to start after the holidays in January. The issue for local drivers is that the trucks will only move between three and 15 mph at times, and even slower as the super loads go over bridges.
