TODAY MARKS THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ATTACKS ON SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

Today marks the 25th anniversary of the attacks on September 11th, 2001.  A memorial service is planned today for the Flight 93 memorial in nearby Somerset County.  Wednesday, students at Westmoreland County Community College unveiled a new 9/11 memorial art installation at the Youngwood campus.  WPXI-TV reports that the piece depicts a soldier, firefighter, police officer and American flag, all in metal to pay tribute to the heroes of the day.
