A recall for frozen berries issued months ago is being expanded to stores in 30 states, including Pennsylvania. Friday, the FDA shared concerns over potential E. coli contamination in frozen berries sold at Walmart and Trader Joe’s. The alert applies to Great Value Organic Blueberries and Triple Berry Blend in ten-ounce bags that have “best-by” dates of January, February, or June of 2028. Trader Joe’s 12-ounce bags of Mixed Berry Blend with a “best-by” date of February 20th, 2028 are included in the notice as well. Customers are advised to avoid eating these products and to return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
