A cruelty to animals case involving a former Penn Township woman was delayed. The Trib reports that Judge Christopher Feliciani said during yesterday’s sentencing hearing that while he could see sentencing Kathleen Chaney yesterday on the charges of cruelty, he also saw problems incarcerating her could have for her teenage son, a budding musician travelling to renaissance fairs across the country where he performs. He postponed the sentencing to ask for more information from a probation officer on sentencing possibilities.
