A Trafford man was ordered to serve time in jail in connection with a March stabbing. The Trib reports that 29-year-old Timothy Rosario pleaded guilty to aggravated and simple assault charges on Tuesday while attempted homicide and other charges were not prosecuted. Police were called out to a home on Westmoreland Road on March 28th and found a man stabbed in the head, stomach and shoulder. Officers said that Rosario admitted to stabbing the victim as he was taken into custody. Rosario was ordered to serve nine to 23 months in Westmoreland County Prison followed by three years of probation, but Judge Christopher Feliciani said he was eligible for early parole to an inpatient facility if a bed became available.
