Authorities say a suspicious letter addressed to the Pennsylvania Department of State was intercepted earlier this week. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service intercepted the letter on Wednesday before it came it into contact with any DOS employees. Federal officials say suspicious mailings were sent to election offices in several states across the country this week, but no evidence of harmful substances has been reported. The investigation is ongoing.
