Westmoreland County Sheriff James Albert said that his office has resumed warrant service. The Trib reports that the announcement came in a brief statement. Earlier this week, he announced that warrant service was stopped temporarily as they were reorganizing the unit after the suspension of the unit’s leader, Sgt. Irvin Shipley, who is on paid suspension pending an investigation. A letter from Judge Christopher Feliciani demanded the Sheriff’s office resume the duties.
