Monroeville has received a federal grant for the redesign of a dangerous intersection that has been confusing for motorists looking for the entrance to Forbes Regional Hospital and the Gateway High School complex. The grant totals three-point-three million dollars. Mayor Dennis Biondo says the hospital has been the main force behind the project and has hired engineers to design the new arrangement of roads around the site.
