STATE POLICE CHARGE MAN WITH SOUTH GREENSBURG KNIGHTS INN ARSON

State police have charged a man with arson for setting fire to the Knights Inn in South Greensburg over the weekend.  The Trib reports that a witness notified troopers about a fire he put out in room 247 of the motel around 1:40 PM Saturday.  The witness said they saw 49-year-old Scott Robertson was in the room watching the fire.  Authorities said Robertson, shirtless and shoeless, then knocked on random doors at the motel and appeared to be intoxicated when police got there.  Robertson was denied bail and is in Westmoreland County Prison with a preliminary hearing set for Wednesday.
