Westmoreland County Detectives have arrested a man in connection with the stabbing death of Lottie Jo Gunn in 1985. The Trib reports that detectives took 61-year-old James Kruczek of West Mifflin into custody yesterday afternoon, according to Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli. Police found Gunn on May 24th, 1985 with a stab wound to her abdomen along Turner Valley Road. An acquaintance told investigators that Kruczek admitted to picking up a female, killing her and dumping her body in North Huntingdon during the spring of 1985. It was unclear from court papers when that information was provided to investigators. He is now in Westmoreland County Jail as bail was denied.
