MOLD REMEDIATION AT PLUM MIDDLE SCHOOL

Mold remediation is going on at Plum Middle School.  The Trib reports that air quality tests showed elevated humidity levels.  The test revealed that the total indoor concentrations of airborne bioaerosols — which the letter also called mold — were significantly lower than the total outdoor concentrations. Although this is normal, the test also showed a slightly higher indoor concentration of one type of mold in three of the locations sampled.  A company was hired to conduct cleaning and remediation measures throughout Labor Day weekend, the letter says, and the district is working to decrease humid conditions inside the building.
