NATIONAL PARK SERVICE HONORING FLIGHT 93 VICTIMS

The National Park Service is honoring those who lost their lives on Flight 93 during the 9/11 attacks.  Flight 93 was intentionally crashed in Shanksville by hijackers after the passengers fought back, leaving 44 people dead.  The passengers’ brave actions prevented the hijackers from reaching their intended target in Washington, D.C.  The memorial will host a remembrance service on Friday in honor of those who lost their lives on Flight 93, which includes speeches from family members of those who died and a wreath laying ceremony.
