A Westmoreland County Judge has ruled that Logan King will be tried as an adult for charges of attempted murder. The Trib reports that the 18-year-old from New Kensington was charged last year with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other crimes in connection with the shooting last September outside the Valley Royal Court Apartments. Police said King shot at an unarmed man during an argument then fled to his apartment before he eventually surrendered. The victim suffered two gunshot wounds. King will face a lengthy prison sentence if he is tried as an adult.
