An East Huntingdon man accused of a politically based attack at a polling place in 2021 was deemed incompetent to stand trial and charges were thrown out. The Trib reports that Common Pleas Judge Christopher Feliciani ruled that Zachary Lambing was not fit to stand trial on charges of simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment for the incident in November of that year. Police said that Lambing was in an argument with Lisa Gephart over President Joe Biden when he slammed her head against a parked car. While Gephart said she was surprised with the ruling but will remain politically active.
