GREENSBURG MAN ARRESTED AT LYNCH FIELD

A Greensburg man was arrested by State Police yesterday at the city’s recreational complex where he reportedly went to meet a minor.  The Trib reports that William Sowerby was arrested at Lynch Field along Route 119 after communicating with an undercover officer posing as a minor.  Sowersby now faces several charges including unlawful contact with a minor for a sexual offense and statuory sexual assault.  He is now in Westmoreland County Prison on $45,000 bond and a preliminary hearing is set for September 24th.
