MURRYSVILLE MAN TO BE ARRAIGNED NEXT MONTH ON HIT-AND-RUN CHARGES

A Murrysville man will be arraigned next month on charges from an April hit-and-run crash that injured two other motorists.  The Trib reports that 21-year-old Laurence Stewart waived his preliminary hearing on charges related to the crash on Route 30 near Malts Lane where three SUV’s were damaged after a truck hit two of them and pushed one of them into a third.  The driver of the pickup fled. Photographs taken at the crash by one of the drivers helped investigators identify Stewart as the suspect. Stewart is free on $100,000 bail.
