HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS APPROVE NEW STRAY CAT ORDINANCE

Hempfield Township Supervisors this week approved a new stray cat ordinance.  KDKA-TV reports that the ordinance will hold those that regularly feed stray cats responsible for their care.  The ordinance states that they can’t care for a stray cat in a way that endangers public health, and violators could face a civil penalty ranging from $50 to $600 for each violation.
