GREENSBURG CITY COUNCIL APPROVES NEW CONTRACT WITH POLICE DEPARTMENT

Greensburg City Council have approved a new contract with the police department.  The Trib reports that the collective bargaining agreement with the Fraternal Order of Police General Greene Lodge 56 will start next year and run through 2031.  Along with pay increases, the contract included increases in contributions to the health insurance, added language for light-duty assignments and an addition that addresses military leave.
