A Penn Borough Man was ordered to serve jail time for an attack on two guards at the Westmoreland County Prison. The Trib reports that 27-year-old Javaun Miller entered guilty pleas last month to two counts of aggravated assault while other counts were dismissed by prosecutors. County detectives said the attack happened as the guards were booking Miller into the Hempfield jail on charges filed by Greensburg police on December 28th. Miller was credited with time served, but the judge says that he will serve at most 23 months in jail.
