GREENSBURG WOMAN TO RECEIVE SETTLEMENT FOR DUMP TRUCK CRASH IN PLUM

A Greensburg woman will receive over $800,000 after a jury ruled in her favor during a trial concerning a crash that happened in Plum three years ago.  The Trib reports that 43-year-old Laura Beregi was hurt after a loaded 36-ton dump truck rear-ended her car on August 11th, 2023 in Plum.  She sued the truck’s driver, Thomas Gaston of Blairsville, and his brother’s trucking company, Gaston Hauling alleging negligence and recklessness.
