DERRY TOWNSHIP MAN FACES CHARGES FOR ROUTE 30 CRASH

A Derry Township man is facing charges for a crash on Route 30 on June 23rd.  The Trib reports that 23-year-old Rhian Ward is accused of running a red light at the intersection with Georges Stations Road and crashing into a car.  Both Ward and a female passenger were taken to the hospital.  Ward is charged with aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence and related offenses.
