IRWIN BOROUGH COUNCIL WORKING ON 2027-28 BUDGET

Irwin Borough Council is working on the 2027-28 budget and they will try to not increase taxes for residents.  The Trib reports that the spending plan discussed last week is a $4.5 million general fund budget that would keep property taxes at 23 mills along with three mills for the fire service provided by the Irwin Volunteer Fire Department.  The general fund is about $100,000 more than last year.
