A West Brownsville man acquitted of homicide in connection with a shooting death in December of 2022 will not serve any additional jail time on a conviction of reckless endangerment. The Trib reports that Lary Nix II was ordered yesterday to serve six to 23 months in prison, but Judge Meghan Billik-Defazio gave him credit for 18 months he served and was immediately paroled. The charges were connected to the death of James Michael Hayes.
